Favorite Tweet?
Any Tweet where I capture the beauty of the moment and share my joy, enthusiasm, surprise, wonder and delight. Could be about nature—seeing hummingbirds at play or a starry desert sky, or food—the smell of bread pudding just out of the oven at Cowboy Ciao or @fnbaz firing up the mesquite grill—or anything!

Favorite person to follow?
Tough to choose from so many inspiring, interesting characters. Local foodnik/blogger @ericeatsout is one of my favorites. He's funny, smart, irreverent and has a wickedly quick wit. Talented writer, too.

Why did you start Tweeting?
Local foodie/techie @chrislee introduced me to Twitter, coached me and encouraged me to engage followers to promote the restaurants. He may have created a monster! Even though @chrislee had introduced me to it to promote the restaurants, I first began using it for personal reasons. I was going through a divorce and was attracted to the many positive, uplifting messages by motivational speakers and life coaches. Two of the first people I followed were local dance/romance/communications goddess @jennkaye, and @j_canfield, co-author of the Chicken Soup series.

Where do you Tweet from?
Anywhere, everywhere—home, the office, the restaurants, supermarket, doctor's or dentist's office. Drives non-Tweeters crazy (my sister: ‘You're like a teenager with that phone!’) I tend to Tweet in spurts—periods of Twitter abstinence are usually followed by marathon sessions.

What do you never Tweet about?
I keep it light and positive by avoiding politics and religion.

What Tweet has garnered the most response?
One year ago today I was true to myself, trusted my instincts and had the courage to leave an intolerable situation. #grateful

Strangest place you've Tweeted from?
A 600-year old house in a Tuscan hill town, on a borrowed laptop perched on the ledge of an open window (so the wireless card could pick up signal) in 40-degree weather. It was a brief session, for sure.

How do you choose who you follow?
Occasionally, I search for an individual, business or organization, but usually I follow or follow back randomly. I look for people engaging and having conversational volleys, especially about food and drink, cooking, relationships and communication. Also, fellow polyglots (I sometimes Tweet in Italian, French or Spanish) and quote junkies. Oh—and I call people out for posting well-known quotes without attribution; this is a major pet peeve of mine in general.

iPhone or BlackBerry?
Sprint Palm Pre.
