Boris is a Real Life Puss in Boots!

With eyes that could battle even the puppiest of puppies, Boris is a handsome six-year-old domestic shorthair orange tabby who is hoping his forlorn look can turn into a happy one once he finds his forever home. This cute boy has been in the care of the Arizona Humane Society since May of this year after he was rescued as a sick stray.

Boris luckily found himself in AHS' Lazin Animal Foundation Trauma Hospital a few weeks ago where it was found that he had quite a severe upper respiratory infection causing ocular discharge and irritation. Placed in the shelter's specialized ICU for patients with colds, the gentle kitty was quickly feeling better in no time thanks to medication and daily care.

As AHS enters the hot summer months, sick, injured and abused pets like Boris continue to enter through its doors each day. From abuse cases to kittens without moms and everything in between, there are many absolutely incredible and deserving pets who are looking for a family to call their own.

Beautiful Boris' adoption fee includes his neuter surgery, current vaccinations, a microchip, and a follow-up wellness exam with a VCA Animal Hospital. Visit him at AHS’ South Mountain Campus or learn more at azhumane.org/adopt and give him the chance to find a loving forever home.
