With a personality much grander than his adorable eight-pound stature, Tito is a great example of homeless pets' lives saved by the Arizona Humane Society each and every day. The sweet pup was rescued after being hit by a car and immediately transferred to the shelter's Lazin Animal Foundation Trauma Hospital.

Upon examination, it was luckily found that Tito did not have any broken bones or internal injuries. He was suffering from a bit of a puppy cold and needed a few teeth extracted so once he was stable enough, the little Chihuahua found himself in a loving Foster Hero home where he continued receiving...

A wonderful example of the amazing pets who are looking for their forever homes in Valley shelters, Zac is a loving pup who was surrendered to the Arizona Humane Society after his family moved and could not take him with. At 10 years young, this sweet boy's world has been turned upside down but that does not stop him from wagging his tail at every chance he gets.

Caring for sick, injured and abused pets with nowhere else to go, the Arizona Humane Society sees cases of pets who are in need of dire medical care each and every day. However, an alarming surge of Parvovirus cases has been affecting not just homeless pets but owned pets throughout our community, as well.

With a face as cute as her adorable ears, Mochi is a five-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier with a heart as big as her personality. This sweet pup arrived at the Arizona Humane Society after her previous owner was unable to continue caring for her due to too any pets in the home.
