Kasai Japanese Steakhouse continues to make a meaningful impact in the community, raising over $34,000 during its third annual Fire & Fairways charity golf tournament to benefit Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers. The funds will help provide Arizona teens with free access to music, art, and vocational programs designed to inspire creativity and purpose.

The sold-out event, held at the prestigious Biltmore Golf Club, brought together businesses, community leaders, and supporters for a day of friendly competition, delicious food, and charitable giving. Attendees enjoyed a mix of golf and gourmet cuisine prepared by Kasai’s award-winning team, all while supporting a cause close to the restaurant’s heart.

“Each year, Fire & Fairways grows in impact thanks to the generosity of our guests and sponsors,” said Mike Russello, owner of Kasai Japanese Steakhouse. “We’re proud to stand behind a cause that empowers youth through creativity, mentorship, and community.”

The funds raised will directly support Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers, which offer teens a safe space to explore their passions through free programs such as recording studios, dance and music instruction, art classes, and job training opportunities.

"Kasai Japanese Steakhouse and their great team organized a fantastic golf tournament and luncheon to support Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers,” said Randy Spencer, a representative of the nonprofit. “Alice Cooper, Sheryl Cooper, our board members, and staff deeply appreciate the heartfelt support from everyone involved. We look forward to many more collaborations — and sharing great sushi!”

Kasai formally presented the check during an Open Mic Night at the Teen Center, highlighting the synergy between community support and youth expression. To learn more about Kasai’s charitable initiatives or upcoming events, visit kasaiteppan.com.
