Get Spooked at the Jerome Grand Hotel

Are you afraid of things that go ‘bump’ in the night? If not, the Jerome Grand Hotel is a great place for you. This hotel has been a hotspot for tourist and ghosts alike since 1997 when its doors first opened.

During the era of mining, more and more people found their way to Jerome, Arizona with hopes of striking it rich by mining copper, silver, and gold. In 1927, the United Verde Hospital began operating, and by 1930, it was known as “the most modern and well equipped hospital in Arizona and possibly the United States.” As the mining operations soon came end, the hospital closed its doors in 1950.
