Dental Office Hosts Labor of Love Event


This Labor Day, the doctors and staff from Risas Dental and Braces will donate their time at its annual Labor of Love event. Each year, for the past six years, the Phoenix-based Risas Dental and Braces has provided free dental services to those in need across the Valley.

On Monday, Sept. 4, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., patients can select from one of four free services, including basic teeth cleaning, cavity filling, tooth extraction and complete exams with X-rays.

New Wellness Center to Open in the Valley


Full Circle Health, a family practice that specializes in medical health, weight loss and aesthetics, is set to open a new 3,200-sq.-ft. space on Friday, Sept. 15, in Mesa (4838 E. Baseline Road, Suite 103). Xavier Students Travel with International Studies Program

Five years ago, Xavier College Preparatory launched an International Studies Program to provide its students and faculty with global religious, educational, cultural and service offerings. Since then, more than 500 Xavier young women and faculty members have traveled internationally with the school's program.

PANDA Sells Bears for Patients

Saturday, Sept. 9 is National Teddy Bear Day, and the Phoenix Women’s Board of the Steele Children’s Research Center, known as PANDA (People Acting Now Discover Answers) and AZFoothills.com's Nonprofit of the Year, is selling adorable Panda Bears for $30.
