Happy Father's Day!

Being a father brings me more satisfaction than anything in life. I have learned patience and to sometimes slow down and enjoy the little things in life that would have passed me by. I grew up not having the luxury of having a father. My mom had me later in life, and I wasn’t exactly planned for. My mom decided to keep me, and though my dad already had kids, he had no interest in dealing with another one. I found out that he passed away around the time I turned 2.

Being raised by a mother alone and working with mostly women in this industry, I once again will say it: Women are smarter and work harder than men. Happy Mother’s Day to my mom and to the other very important women who help guide me in fatherhood. Leslie and Katherine, I love you both.

Michael Dee's Message: Things are changing in our Valley, and I like it!

Last month, we celebrated our first-ever Best Of Our Valley party, and the support from our community was tremendous. We had local business owners, CEOs, agencies, models, general managers and readers, along with fans. One thing everyone had in common is that they are all huge supporters of Arizona Foothills Magazine and what we do - and we want to thank everyone. We do love what we do. We turn 13 this May, and we plan on printing this publication for many more years to come.
