Local Singer Launches Solo Career

As she walked into the Arizona Foothills office, singer Dawn Jameson was glammed-up from head to toe and radiating with positive energy. It’s no wonder; her brand new album is set to be released early next year, kicking off her country-wide tour- she’ll be decked out with an 8-piece band and live horns. During our conversation, she spoke about her musical upbringing, her days at Scottsdale’s Barcelona, and establishing herself as a solo artist in the music industry.

Local Well-Known Plastic Surgeon Dies

A truly great person and someone we have personally known left us last night in a tragic accident.  Dr. Richard Pavese, a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in Tempe, died after being struck by a car Tuesday evening. He had been practicing in Arizona for over 27 years.

“He was more than a great doctor to many. This is a true loss for our community.  He was a leader in his field who set some of the standards and was always a man that would listen to you and share his wisdom.” says Michael Dee, publisher of Arizona Foothills Magazine.

Face of Foothills 2011- The Final Ten

When Arizona Foothills set out to find their second-annual Face of Foothills, they held 14 Casting Calls at Westcor shopping centers. Thousands of beautiful faces applied and snapped head shots in an attempt to win the contest. The Face of Foothills contestants competed in four rounds of voting, which narrowed nearly three hundred models to only ten beautiful faces.
