Fall festivities are officially in full swing! Whether you’re indulging in tasty, fried-food favorites at the Arizona State Fair or you’re settling in for a ride aboard the Pumpkin Patch Train at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel, you’ll have every opportunity to enjoy fun, seasonal activities this weekend, Oct. 5 through Oct. 7.

Phoenix Rescue Mission has launched its second-annual “HOMELESS FOR THE HOLIDAYS” campaign with the hope that the Valley’s homeless and disadvantaged populations do not go hungry this holiday season. 

The nonprofit is currently is in need of food, water, hygiene items, new socks, toys, volunteers and monetary donations to support the Homeless for the Holidays campaign. The campaign runs through Dec. 31.
