Valley Foundation Announces Model Search
In an effort to raise awareness of a sudden and fatal illness that claims nearly 500,000 lives annually, The Joe Niekro Foundation has teamed up with actress Tamala Jones of "Castle" and luxury hat maker Canada Bliss in a model search for brain aneurysm survivors.

Outlets at Anthem Call for Charities
Outlets at Anthem invites Phoenix nonprofits of all varieties to participate in the center’s annual Shopping Extravaganza event on Oct. 3. Through this one-day philanthropic event, charities create awareness about their cause and raise funds for their organization. Organizations interested in participating must be a 501c3 designated group. There is no fee to become a charity partner, and the deadline to submit an application is Monday, June 15.

May 16: Phoenix Zoo Kindness Safari
This Saturday, May 16, KIND team members in Phoenix (and in 18 other cities across the country) will be hosting a kindness safari at the Phoenix Zoo from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to show kids how easy and fun doing kind acts every day can be.
The kindness safaris will include a scavenger hunt booklet which features interactive kindness activities inspired by animals (i.e. see a bear; give somebody in your family a bear hug). In addition, attendees will receive flowers upon leaving to pass on to someone else as well as a take-home kindness kit that comes in a complimentary lunch tote that kids can color on.
