Last week, Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix employees and season pass holders attended the official ribbon cutting for the Crazy Cactus Roaring River. Formerly the Lazy River, the new experience provides even more opportunities for locals to have even more fun in the sun this summer. The Crazy Cactus Roaring River features fast-moving water, wave action, tipping water buckets, water cannons and waterfalls to refresh riders of all ages. The park is now open seven days a week and features extended hours and Dive 'n' Movies as well as additional seating, shade and food venues this season.

In anticipation of the July 1 release of Terminator Genisys, Harkins Arizona Mills 25 with IMAX hosts the “Threat Has Evolved” Interactive Experience. Open to the public for one day only, fans will have the chance to enter the T-1000 simulator for a recorded test to determine if they are qualified to join the Human Resistance in their battle against Skynet. The “Threat Has Evolved” Interactive Experience takes place Friday, May 29 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
