Little Debbie is as sweet as can be!

Meet Debbie, a one-year-old female Pit Bull Terrier and Labrador Retriever mix with a heart full of love to give. She was surrendered to the Arizona Humane Society through no fault of her own due to her previous owner's health issues. Debbie arrived at the shelter appearing healthy and accompanied by two small dog friends. Despite the upheaval in her life, Debbie remains a shy yet social and sweet girl, ready to bond with her new forever family.

Betty and her Baker’s Dozen came to the Arizona Humane Society in late July after she was found by a Good Samaritan as a sick stray and very pregnant. Dehydrated and in need of help for herself and her future pups, the pregnant mama had nowhere else to turn.

The three-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier was taken into the shelter’s Mutternity Suites, a quiet, medically supervised area for pregnant and nursing dogs, where she has been undergoing care for tummy issues.
