Football is more than just fun and games. While young fans admire their favorite football athletes on ESPN, the full-contact plays are also causing an astounding increase of unique injuries across the nation.

This season at Fashion Week, many changes were underway; gone are the days where we gathered in the tents of Bryant Park to view the shows. We now are finding fashion refuge in Lincoln Center. I wish I could I say that there were as interesting happenings in the collections as there were in the venues. This season, I was underwhelmed and felt that most of the designers were out of touch with what the consumer really wanted to see. Luckily, there were some standout collections.
