10 Events That Shaped the Phoenix Open
As the 76th year of the Phoenix Open tees off, we take a look at the rich history the tournament is based on.
Chalone Vineyard as Official Wine of PGA America
The PGA of America is proud to announce a new partnership with Chalone Vineyard as “The Official Wine of The PGA of America.” A recognized pioneer in California wine, and the oldest bonded winery in Monterey, Chalone Vineyard is the only winery in the distinctive Chalone appellation. And given its Monterey location and history of supporting golf tournaments, Chalone Vineyard is also the ideal “golfer” wine in Diageo Chateau & Estates’ (DC&E) portfolio.
Chalone’s Estate Wines originate from their 250 acre vineyard on the benchland of the Gavilan Mountain Range.
Meet Alison Johnson: Most Fashionable Over 30 Women
Meet Alison Johnson. She’s the Best of Our Valley winner for “Most Fashionable Over 30- Women.” It’s no wonder she’s so fashionable - she went to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles for college. While in school she was a stylist for Ralph Lauren on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. She moved back to Arizona after her father was diagnosed with cancer. He unfortunately lost the battle and passed away, which led Alison to her job with the American Cancer Society. Keep up the miracle work Alison!
