Tripod Pup Trinity is a Fetch Expert!

With a smile as big as her loving heart, Trinity has had many reasons not to be so happy-go-lucky but continually shows her bright spirit. The gorgeous two-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier was transferred to the Arizona Humane Society from another shelter after she was found to have an injured back leg in July of this year.

Upon inspection in AHS’ Lazin Animal Foundation Trauma Hospital, x-rays revealed that her right hind leg was extremely fractured – most likely due to being hit by a vehicle. Trinity quickly underwent surgery to remove her painful, non-ambulating leg and has recovered extremely...

Arizona Autism Charter Schools Receives $355,000 Grant; Launches State’s First Autism-Focused Primary Care Clinic

autismcharter.org (AZACS), the state’s only tuition-free public charter network specifically serving students with autism, has been awarded a $355,000 Community Reinvestment Grant from Mercy Care through its 2025 Mercy C.A.R.E.S. program. The funding will support the development of the Autism Spectrum Wellness Center, Arizona’s first primary care medical clinic dedicated to individuals on the autism spectrum.
