One of thousands of pets saved from suspected cruelty by Arizona Humane Society’s Animal Rescue and Cruelty Team each year, Sergio has been in and out of the care of the shelter since February of this year. When the sweet two-year-old was initially examined in the shelter’s trauma hospital, he originally was found to be healthy but unfortunately later came down with a puppy cold.

After being cleared from his cold, the cute cow-spotted pup was given extra attention from the Arizona Humane Society’s Behavior Team as he was very fearful from his previous experience with his family. After daily work to help him learn how to trust people, Sergio has now become an extremely loving and outgoing pup who is hoping to find a true forever home.

Now, Sergio is a very energetic pup who is looking for a family that loves going on walks, playing in the yard and may have a pup who matches his energy. A lover of giving kisses and walks, the pointy eared boy is waiting for the chance to prove how adorable he can be with a family that gives him the chance.
