To honor those who lost their lives on 9/11, Phoenix's CityCenter of CityNorth is partnering with United Blood Services to encourage its tenants, their employees and the community to donate blood. The blood drive takes place Sept. 11 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at CityCenter of CityNorth.

Each blood donor will be given a “thank you” bag with items from High Street restaurants including:

·      Appetizer from Kona Grill card (on 9/11)

·      AZ Body Mechanics Pilates Equipment Class

·      Blue Martini gift card

·      50 percent off Mojo Yogurt on 9/11

·      Ocean...

This Saturday, Sept. 7, at 1 p.m. at Macy’s Scottsdale Fashion Square (at the second-floor mStyle lab), locals are invited to come hear a live acoustic performance by Megan & Liz. The pop duo of fratenal twin sisters will be on hand to perform tracks from their new album, Look What You Started, including their single “Release You.”  Immediately following the performance, Megan & Liz will stick around to take photos with guests who make a qualifying purchase.

After a week of try-outs, 18 Phoenix Suns dancers have been announced. (150 dancers auditioned.) AZFoothills.com wants to send a big congrats to these 18 talented women.

It is time to start thinking about celebrating Papa and Nana. Sept. 8 marks Grandparent's Day and the Valley's new Butterfly Wonderland is commemorating this very special day. Scottsdale's Butterfly Wonderland will offer free professional family photographs for guests, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A professional photographer will be on site, capturing images of the family visiting--on Sunday only--and email the images to them for free.
