Phoenix School Named National Blue Ribbon School
Due to its overall academic excellence, U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan announced the Valley's own Xavier College Preparatory as a National Blue Ribbon School. It is the highest national accolade possible for an educational institution and the third time in school history that Xavier has received this recognition. Dream Home Tour Kicks Off
This year's Dream Home Tour series will kick off with the Arcadia/Biltmore Dream Home Tour on Oct. 19. The home tour will benefit two local charities, The Phoenix Symphony and JDRF.
The tour features six luxury homes currently on the market, ranging in price from $1 million to $4 million. Various design styles--from French Country to Santa Barbara--will be on display. In addition to touring the homes, guests will sample cuisine from local restaurants, include Phoenix's St. Francis.
