Braden Shipley

Braden Shipley, a k a Sensy, was born and raised in Medford, Ore. After attending high school, he was offered a scholarship to play ball at the University of Nevada where he would be part of the Nevada Wolf Pack. Throughout his time in the Wolf Pack, he received prestigious awards and was highlighted on the watch list of top 2013 draft picks. In 2013, he concluded his collegiate career and entered the world of Major League Baseball after being drafted by the Diamondbacks in the first round. which gave him the honor of being Nevada Wolf Pack’s first, first-round pick in history.

Super versatile player and Texas native, Chris Herrmann, commonly known as Herrm the Worm by teammates, is returning this year with a postseason vengeance. Before becoming the catcher for the D-Backs, Herrmann attended Alvin Community College where he was named to the NJCAA Division 1 All-American Team, along with other recognitions. After one year of high success at the Junior College level, the Division 1, NCAA title holders, University of Miami recruited him. Scals, or Daniel Descalso, is a California native and current utility player for the Diamondbacks.  He is known primarily for playing second base, third base and for being a pinch hitter. After having an all-star high school career in baseball and football, he went to UC Davis where he played third base and studied Economics. Following his junior year, the St. Louis Cardinals drafted him in the third round, and he made his major league debut three seasons later in September of 2010.
