Tucson
Tucson Sports Bars
It’s almost time for south Florida to up their game as host of Superbowl XLIV. But, before tailgating begins and screaming ensues (psst, they can’t hear you), we need to root our favorite team through the playoffs. And what better way to do that then at your local hangout. Call your friends, grab the family and sport your team’s jersey because these hangouts will be crazy starting Saturday.
Spotlight on Tohono Chul Park
Tucson is a beloved city for residents and visitors alike, and there are plenty of activities and attractions to keep everyone entertained, young and old. Whether you are a first-time visitor to Tucson or you have lived here all your life, Tohono Chul Park is one of those attractions that’ll keep you coming back again and again. In offering guests a dose of nature, art and culture, this award-winning park and garden always makes for a fascinating and educational outing for the entire family.
Tucson's Golf Community
For those desert dwellers who live out west (year-round or part-time), most will tell you there’s no better place to practice your swing then in Tucson. Aside from the superb climate, Arizona has more challenging golf courses per square mile than most states could ever dream of. And for that, we host several statewide tournaments including February’s up-and-coming Accenture Match Play Championship held at the recently unveiled The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain (Tucson's newest luxury resort) and the PGA’s formerly named FBR Open, now the Waste Management Phoenix Open, held at the TPC Scottsdale. As for which celebrities grace our golf courses, well, we like to take a wait–and-see approach.
New Year’s Eve in Tucson
Champagne? Check. Party dress? Check. New Year’s resolution prepared? Check. The New Year is always an exciting time, but sometimes there are just too many events happening at once and it can be difficult to know where to begin and end your night. Tucson is no exception, but we’ve narrowed down the list to only the most A-list-worthy parties so that you can concentrate more on what shoes you’re going to wear and less on planning out your evening.
