How to Design the Perfect Space for Yourself in Your New Home

You might have thought that finding the perfect home, on the perfect street, in the perfect neighborhood was going to be hard enough. You might have also found yourself thinking that once you have closed on the house that you will have time to relax. But wait, that is not how that works at all. What you now have to face is the designing of your new space according to your personal taste, the requirements of your hectic lifestyle, and the type of home that you have found for yourself. To make this process a little easier on yourself, you will want to take a few moments to reflect on the following pointers.

Meeting Jonathan Adler

JA 2016 PORTRAIT by Maura McEvoy

I was quite nervous to meet him; a legendary designer whose pieces I have admired for years. Walking into his Biltmore store with my list of interview questions in hand, I felt well . . . dorky.

The hypnotizing play of the flames while relaxing with family and friends, and the cozy feeling having a fireplace during the holiday season is a recipe for relaxation –– even when it’s 80 degrees on Thanksgiving day.

There are many reasons our Gilbert-based general contracting company recommends electric fireplaces. Energy efficiency, no smoke, with its potentially carcinogenic agents, low maintenance, and, of course, safety, are also reasons why electric fireplaces make sense, especially here in the desert Southwest.

In particular, we like the products, and the people, at Modern Flames, and so do our clients.
