Though temperatures are still in the triple-digits, we see light at the end of the tunnel- and on our agendas. Event season is near! When planning fabulous soirees, there are so many tiny details to consider and re-consider. We asked event extraordinaire and marketing coordinator Tiffany Hurd of Tri-Rentals her tips and ideas for pulling off an extravaganza- big or small.

What are some event highlights- the biggest and best productions you've been a part of?

Biggest would have to be Superbowl, NASCAR, NBA All-Star private events, AZ Bike Week, Utah Jazz Festival… personal favorites are some of the most amazing wedding set ups we have done in Sedona, Flagstaff, and many other locations – utilizing tenting, lighting, swagging and climate control.

What are some little touches to make a dinner or smaller event in your home more special?

Tall cocktail tables with a floor-length linen to compliment the color scheme of the party.  This is an impact element in addition to being totally functional.  When I have a get-together the majority of compliments I receive are about the few cocktail tables I added.  It can dress up the party or simply create a casual social environment based on the linen selected.

What is the best party you've ever been to?

That is a tough one to answer.  There are so many wonderful events that I have been a part of that it is hard to choose.  The best parties have been ones that meet the needs of all guests, extroverts and introverts alike.  The Superbowl Tailgate Party really knocked my socks off this year, literally.  A fountain was built as a centerpiece to the venue built from the ground up, complete with numerous lounge chairs to just kick back, be quiet & relax prior to the game.  For the creative there was an entire area dedicated to decorate your own cupcakes.  OPI had cabanas set up where they painted guests' nails the color of their favorite team.
