What small and inexpensive items can a person rent to make the biggest impact?
This depends on the size of the party. For an event with 16 – 20 people I would definitely choose to rent china & glassware. It may be slightly more expensive than disposables however it is the best way to reduce the carbon footprint as well as providing a beautiful surface to present your delectable creations. For a large party, a signature drink in a colorful glass or nice wine in Riedel stemware is a special treat.

What are cool trends you see right now in special events and weddings?
Swagging continues to be a hot item for us. While the install takes a bit of time and requires additional advance time prior to the event start, it is worth it. Photos are the best way to understand how swagging adds dimension to the venue. A splash of color or defining a special space are just a couple of ways this feature is used. The other trend is varied seating. We are seeing a break away from traditional round tables with 10 chairs per table. From Royal Tables to an assortment of square and round tables almost anything goes. There is a distinct trend toward maximizing the venue space as well as creating a dynamic look for the space. For seating many are using benches for the ceremony or at a royal table. Others have selected the Chameleon Chair for their unique a la carte design.
