Mama Bear Ready to be Baby of her Forever Home

Reminiscent of the pup in the classic movie "The Little Rascals," Mama Bear is a sweet girl who is looking for a home to be spoiled in. The five-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier was rescued by the Arizona Humane Society after being found abandoned in a park in December.

Upon examination in the shelter's Lazin Animal Foundation Trauma Hospital, the spotted pup was found to be in need of a dental procedure to help her remove some broken teeth. Mama Bear then went into a loving Foster Hero home where she could recover and get some much-needed rest and relaxation.

While in her foster home, it was found that Mama Bear absolutely loves car rides, rolling around on her back in the grass and on carpet, as well as being a huge snuggle bug on the couch. She is also a huge fan of snacks but much prefers to be in the company of her people getting booty scratches as often as possible!

Thanks to Hill's Pet Nutrition, all big dogs weighing 50 pounds and more will have waived adoption fees through mid-January! Mama Bear's $0 adoption fee includes her spay surgery, current vaccinations, a microchip, and a follow-up wellness exam with a VCA Animal Hospital. Visit this gorgeous girl at the Arizona Humane Society's Sunnyslope Campus or learn more at azhumane.org/adopt to give her the loving forever home she deserves.
