There’s just something about a man in uniform…especially a firefighter, and that fire ensemble is even sexier when the hometown hero is single—an eligible bachelor looking for love.

Feast your eyes on major eye candy March 19th, when local firefighters will come together enjoying music, food, and drinks.  The best part is--you’re invited to get in on the action.

It’s the first ever Stop Rock & Roll Music Festival benefitting the United Phoenix Firefighters.  Headliners include the famed Tempe band; The Gin Blossoms, among other local up-and-coming artists.  All you have to do is head to Steele Indian School Park for the day-long event.

And there’s good news if you’re a savvy single on the man-hunt.

It’s time for your informal introduction to two suitably fit firemen sure to light your fire, and both guys will be lingering around the March 19th fundraiser.

First, meet Jeff Thompson--playfully known as “JT,” a 36-year old Iron-Man and Phoenix Firefighter.

JT

This family guy is focused on his 13-year old daughter, but he’s still willing to welcome a lady into his life.

“I guess I’m in the market.  I want someone who likes to hike, is athletic, and physical fit,” said Phoenix Firefighter, Jeff Thompson.

That’s because JT averages 2-3 triathlons a year and routinely hikes the Grand Canyon.

But when he’s on the clock, JT can often be found at Ladder 22.  He joined the Phoenix Fire Department seven years ago, living out his childhood dream.

“It’s something I’ve always wanted to.  I love the atmosphere, helping people, and being active,” said Thompson.

This active (and available) catch was born and raised in Phoenix, graduating from Sunnyslope High School.  After earning his diploma, JT went straight to San Diego to join the military.

“I spent two years s a search and rescue swimmer.”
