Drive Your Destiny – Platform Scottsdale Signature Event

On Thursday, Nov. 5, from 7 - 9 p.m., Platform Scottsdale, a Valley organization dedicated to giving women a platform to meet, mentor and connect, will be hosting their next signature event a Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale. The Drive Your Destiny event will feature a driven presentation by Catherine Anaya. Salvation Army: Hygiene Means Hope

The Salvation Army's calling is to feed, to clothe, to comfort, to care. And thanks to the generous support of local residents, essentials like Hygiene Kits are provided to homeless adults, children and families in need.

Homeless people often go without the basic necessities most Americans take for granted. Amidst the struggle to find food and a safe place to sleep, it's difficult to acquire basic items like soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes, etc.

Oct. 3: Cruise for Wildlife

Nature enthusiasts all over the Valley are counting the days until Liberty Wildlife’s first-ever Cruise for Wildlife.

The cruise will be led by Clint Sutter, certified captain and Lake Pleasant expert, who will share his knowledge about the surrounding area and the native peoples who once inhabited it. If timing is right, guests may encounter wild bald eagles and other Arizona wildlife as they explore miles of hidden canyons and scenic shorelines. Aurora, Liberty Wildlife’s very own bald eagle, will join the crew on board for complimentary photo ops.
