Q&A with Brophy College Prep Vice President Adria Renke

A can't-miss fall event and tremendously successful revenue generator for premier school Brophy College Prep, the annual Brophy Fashion Show Luncheon will be held November 3, 2010 at the Camelback Inn in Paradise Valley. The event draws up to 1,400 guests each year, who enjoy a beautiful lunch, Saks Fifth Avenue fashion show, raffle prizes and- the highlight- the presentation of the Brophy senior boys. We had the opportunity to talk with Brophy College Prep Vice President Adria Renke about her history at the school, the fantastic event and how the funds benefit the students.

Kent Knudson: Arizona Activist Dead at 60

November 11, 1949 - September 25, 2010

Kent Randolf Knudson, longtime Valley activist, died September 25, 2010 in Phoenix when he took his own life.

Knudson was known for his life of activism and fighting for social justice, among many other things. His most well-known stand was when he led the 9/11 Truth movement in the Valley of the Sun, which included a 9/11 Truth & Accountability Conference where he shed light on another side of the story behind what happened September 11, 2001. He also fought for human rights, the environment, sustainability and ending US military occupations.
