When one of their cycling instructors, Natalie, was diagnosed with leukemia, locally owned and operated Mountainside Fitness immediately wanted to help. Therefore, they began selling Mountainside Fitness Cycle T-shirts and tanks before every cycling class at its Indian Bend, Shea, Ice Den and Desert Ridge locations. At $25 each, 100 percent of the proceeds from these sales are being donated directly to Natalie and her family to assist with the cost of her treatment and recovery.

“Our core belief is that we at Mountainside are all members of one big family,” says CEO Tom Hatten. “Natalie is such a bright and important part of our family and when we heard about her diagnosis there was no question we would find a way to help out. Special thanks goes out to Craig Cote MSF President for taking the lead on this. He made this happen!”

“I am so humbled by all of the support that I have received from Mountainside Fitness, my fellow instructors, and Mountainside members,” says Natalie. “I feel so proud to work for such an amazing company! To all those that cycled yesterday and for all those that will ride in the coming Saturdays, I want to say ‘Thank You’ from the bottom of my heart! The journey ahead will be challenging, but I am stronger than cancer. Peace and love to all!”

Update: They haves raise $11,400 to help Natalie’s medical costs. This weekend will be the last weekend (August 30-31) during which people can buy shirts.
