Winners of the Dog Days of Summer contest, sponsored by Vestar and Raintree Pet Resort, will be crowned this Sunday October 13 from 1p – 2p at the fabulous Oh My Dog! Boutique + Spa located at 7137 E Stetson Dr. in Old Town Scottsdale.  

Three casting calls were held over the course of the summer at Vestar Properties Westgate Entertainment District, Desert Ridge Marketplace, and Tempe Marketplace where hundreds of the Valley’s best dogs were seen. Voting took place online and five finalists have been chosen in categories including “Best Large Dog”, “Best Small Dog” and “Best Dressed Dog”.

A total of four winners will be selected this weekend in each category plus an overall winner, “Dog of the Year”. The “Dog of the Year 2013” will receive a $200 Vestar Gift Card, a professional dog photo shoot, a pup profile in Arizona Foothills Magazine and hold the title of Arizona Foothills Magazine’s “Dog of the Year 2013.”
