For the first time ever, one of the state's favorite fall traditions now conviently offers reserved seating. The Grand Canyon Railway's annual Pumpkin Patch Train, which runs every Saturday and Sunday in October from Williams, now offers reserved seating for the 90-minute-long holiday experience. Times includ 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 for kids ages 2 to 15 and $20 for adults. Activities include a journey to a secret pumpkin patch; a haunted train car, hay bale maze, pumpkin decorating and crafts; pumpkin pie, caramel apples, hot apple cider and hot chocolate; and the Alpine Harvest Festival in Williams with pumpkin-carving contest, scarecrow judging, barnyard petting zoo, "Howly, Growly, Owly" guided tour through Bearizona and more. Pumpkin Patch Train reservations can be made by calling 1.800.843.8724 or visiting www.thetrain.com.
