After closing abruptly in the spring--and leaving many Valley brides without a venue--the iconic Downtown Chandler events venue, The Inspirador, will re-open under new ownership. Katherine Christensen & Associates, an East-Valley based, family-owned and -operated event planning business, and Christensen's daughter, Megan, will re-open the venue as SoHo63.

The family has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality and event planning business; SoHo63 is now the fourth venture in their event-planning empire. The family hopes to "maintain the integrity of the hip and historic nature" of the venue, which was initially built as a hardware store in 1916. www.soho63.com.
