EXTRA EXTRA!

It is always exciting when a new restaurant is welcomed into the Valley’s restaurant scene!  The Valley offers incredible chefs and a large selection of excellent dining experiences!  However, with so many new restaurants continuing to open there are several great restaurants that are unable to be among the successful restaurants in the Valley.

This week the city of Scottsdale suffered a great loss in its restaurant selection as Davanti Enoteca, one of the 30 restaurants owned and operated by Chicago-based Francesca’s Restaurant Group, was forced to close.  Barely open for nine months, Davanti Enoteca followed the footsteps of Francesca’s DC Ranch restaurant that closed last week. 

Also included on the list of restaurants that have closed in Scottsdale recently are: Indulge Burgers & More, Cask 63 in North Scottsdale, J. Alexander’s, X-Tapa Joe’s, and several others.

These restaurants will be missed among the selection of dining experiences offered in Scottsdale.  There is no doubt that 2013 is going to be a busy year for the Valley’s restaurant scene.  We should expect many openings of new and exciting restaurants as well as the potential loss of one of our favorites.
