EXTRA EXTRA!

Trying to balance extracurricular activities with schoolwork can be tough for your kids. To make it easier, North Scottsdale's Ice Den has partnered with Scottsdale Education Center (SEC) to offer tutoring and homework support to its skaters as of Jan. 22.

“We thought the best solution was to bring tutoring and homework help directly to our skaters," said Mike O'Hearn, Ice Den president. " Our partnership with Scottsdale Education Center is one that I know Ice Den parents will be happy about. Not only will their children continue to excel on the ice, but now they can find support that will help them excel in the classroom as well.”

With packages ranging from general homework support to semi-private and private tutoring, SEC is offering buy one, get one 50 percent off to Ice Den patrons from now until the end of February.  The program is available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3 until 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. For more information on this new program, please visit www.coyotesice.com or www.sectutoring.com.
