This year's Barrett-Jackson car auction in Scottsdale was yet another smashing success! Just check out these stats:

  • 1,343 cars sold
  • $108,766,069 in gross sales (17 percent increase from last year)
  • A Record  310,000 in attendance (15 percent increase from last year)
  • Two world records set: Lot # 5019: 1947 Talbot-Lago T-26 Grand Sport: $2,035,000 and Lot # 5034: 1956 Chrysler Diablo Concept Convertible (world record for a Chrysler concept car): $1,375,000
  • Charity: 21 vehicles helped to raise more than $5,000,000. It was clear from the cheers of the crowd and the final sales price, that both record-breaking cars showed strong results, signifying a rise in the collector car market and Barrett-Jackson’s stronghold within the industry. In fact, reports in 2012 showed a 33 percent increase in the value of collector cars, which was proven once more by the company’s fans in Scottsdale.
