A Fountain Hills jeweler plans to say "I do" to a Guinness record next month. This upcoming Valentine's Day, Sami Fine Jewelry in Fountain Hills plans to take over a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for largest vow renewal with Sami's "Love in the Hills" event. The massive wedding vow renewal ceremony will take place at the Fountain Hills Park located at 12925 N. Saguaro Blvd. on Thursday, Feb.14 at 5 p.m. As of 2012, the "Miami Merger Moment," held on June 20, 2009, renewed the vows of 1,087 couples.

It will be free for couples to participate in the event. Registration for couples begins at 4 p.m. All renewal attendees will go into a drawing to win a new set of wedding rings from Sami Fine Jewelry, a three-night stay at the Radisson at Fort McDowell, a portrait session from Sara Goodnick Photography, a floral arrangement from Nonny's, a relationship coach certificate from Larry James along with a signed copy of his book “How to Really Love the One You’re With”, and many other gifts from local businesses.
