Arizona Foothills is throwing three fabulous Dog Days of Summer Casting Calls Friday, July 27th at Westgate City Center, Saturday, July 28 at Tempe Marketplace, and Sunday, July 29 at Desert Ridge Marketplace! The dog-stravaganzas will feature all sorts of fun dog stuff for you and your pooch.
At all three events, dogs will have the opportunity to enter the Dog Days of Summer "Dog of the Year" contest and receive 300 bonus votes just for being there. Pups and their owners will also enjoy fabulous offerings from Tempe Marketplace, Westgate City Center, and Desert Ridge Marketplace!
Westgate City Center Casting Call- Friday, July 27, 2012- 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Casting calls will take place at Fountain Park)
Event Details:
Dogs will take a glamorous puppy headshot courtesy of Arizona Foothills photographers. Fluffy's photo will then be uploaded to AZFoothills.com for Web voting to determine the cutest dog. The pup with the most votes at the end of round 1 will move on to round 2 where a panel of judges will select the winner. The winner will get a $200 Visa® Gift Card from Vestar, a professional dog photo shoot and their pup's profile in Arizona Foothills Magazine. Best of all, they'll hold the title of Arizona Foothills Magazine's "Dog of the Year" for 2012!
All pups will have opportunity to help find a cure for bone marrow cancer- T-Gen will be collecting mouth-swabs from dog volunteers to help with research they are conducting- the more samples, the closer they are to finishing their study and finding a cure for dog- and human cancer!

First 250 contestants will receive a goodie bag from Arizona Foothills Magazine and Westgate City Center.
