Do you love to eat? Then how does eating for a cause sound? A beneficial "Cookin' for a Cure" will be hosted by Marilyn B. Gula Mountains of Hope Foundation on Thursday, March 22nd. The fundraising event will be held at Chef Eddie Matney's Scottsdale restaurant, Eddie's House. It will contribute to raise money for breast cancer research at the Phoenix-based organization, TGen.
Not only will there be and open bar and passed hors d'oeuvres of Chef Eddie's specialties and desserts, but there will be celebrity appearances, prizes, and an auction and raffle that will set the elegant yet fun tone.
For just a few, celebrity sports figures Joe Garagiola (baseball legend and announcer), Luis Gonzalez )former diamondacks outfielder), and Ben Patrick (former Cardinals tight end) are scheduled to attend. Also appearing is local television personality, Tara Hitchcock.
The Marilyn B. Gula Mountains of Hope Foundation is a Phoenix-based non-profit organization that's main purpose is to further aid the research and treatment of advanced breast cancer. All benefits from Cookin’ for a Cure at Eddie’s House will contribute to the advanced breast cancer research projects taken place at the TGen Foundation.
Tickets will cost $175 per person. The "Cookin for a Cure' will begin at 6pm at Eddie's House in Scottsdale, located at 7042 E. Indian School Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. You can purchase tickets now by clicking here.
