Lucky Break to open December 26, 2011
Announcing the opening of Lucky Break – Billiards • Bar •Grill located at the SEC of Baseline & McClintock in the Peter Piper Plaza, one block south of the 60 and two blocks west of the 101.
“Lucky Break is many things,” says General Manager, Jared Fenix, “but more than anything, it’s very simply a great place to hang out.” Lucky Break brings together some of the most popular products, services and activities to be found under one roof anywhere in the valley. The newly designed and built-out 6,000 square foot facility offers six world-class, eight-foot, rent-by-the hour Spencer Marston billiard tables, a state-of-the-art A/V system with six giant screen projectors and fourteen 55-inch flat screen TVs, an interesting menu showcasing a dozen gourmet burgers, and a 24-tap draft system featuring a dazzling array of domestic, import and craft beers.
“This is not a niche type concept,” explains Fenix. “We are mainstream all the way! Burgers, beer, sports, music and pool – this is the kind of place that you can visit several times a week, for many different reasons, all of them revolving around good food, good drink and a good time.”
This good time in not just meant for the guys alone; Lucky Break is designed to be very female friendly as well. In addition to having some creative salads and appetizers on the menu that the ladies will enjoy, all of the burgers are available with chicken, turkey or a veggie burger as options. There is also a very stimulating list of wines available, all by the glass, along with a vast selection of cocktails to choose from. “If you are a beer person, this is definitely a place for you, but even if you’re not, we have tons of excellent options, whatever your beverage of choice,” states Fenix enthusiastically.
Lucky Break chose this location because of its ample parking, proximity to the 60 and 101 freeways and the demographics of the immediate area, which is dense with the singles and couples they hope to attract as regular clientele. The construction process has taken almost four months and an investment reported to be in excess of $500,000. The business will bring approximately forty new jobs to the community along with the associated sales tax revenue for both the City and State.
Lucky Break is open seven days a week, features happy hour every day, a DJ on the weekends and offers accommodations for groups, corporate events and private parties. For bookings call (480) 345-1000.
