Mingle With the Stars: Celebrity Fight Night Launches Ticket Giveaway Contest
Celebrities to include:
Muhammad Ali, Reba McEntire, Lionel Richie, Miley Cyrus and Jackie Evancho

 Celebrity Fight Night, one of the nation’s most elite charity events, launched its ticket giveaway contest today, giving anyone the chance to win a pair of tickets worth $3,000 to attend the star-studded evening on March 24, 2012. Celebrities and professional athletes from all over the U.S. will unite for an action-packed night filled with incredible live auction items and musical performances.


To enter the Holiday “Name That Celebrity” Contest, visit www.celebrityfightnight.org anytime between Dec. 21 and Jan. 1. Simply click on the green holly icon that links to the contest page where you will be prompted to identify 45 of Celebrity Fight Night’s past celebrity guests. On Jan. 2, Celebrity Fight Night will select entries with the most correct celebrity names and randomly draw a winner for two seats to Celebrity Fight Night XVIII. After the contest, the winner will be notified and listed online.

“We’re looking forward to giving away a pair of tickets for our upcoming event and offering a lucky winner this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” said Sean Currie, executive director of Celebrity Fight Night. “It’s an unforgettable experience and what people love most about Celebrity Fight Night is mingling with the stars and the memorable performances. We’re hoping to receive hundreds of contest entries to help raise awareness for our charities.”

Celebrity Fight Night XVIII will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Ariz. In addition to featured guest, Muhammad Ali – who will celebrate his 70th birthday in 2012 – the 2012 star-studded gala will include Grammy Award-winning leading lady of country music Reba McEntire returning as the evening’s emcee for her seventh consecutive year. Grammy winner Lionel Richie is confirmed to perform, as well as Jackie Evancho, Miley Cyrus and Sinbad. In addition, 16-time Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer, David Foster, will serve as Musical Director for his 13th year. Many more celebrities and performers will be announced at a later date.

Over the past 17 years, Celebrity Fight Night has raised more than $70 million for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center and other charities. Celebrities and professional athletes from all over the U.S. join Muhammad Ali each year for this celebrity-filled night filled with live auction items and musical performances by many of today’s brightest stars. Previous guests include Halle Berry, Billy Crystal, Kevin Costner, Matchbox Twenty, Kelly Clarkson, Jon Bon Jovi, Robin Williams, Jim Carrey, Donald Trump, Celine Dion, Faith Hill, Whitney Houston, Randy Jackson, Sharon Stone, Rod Stewart, Michael Buble, Josh Groban, Diana Ross, John Mellencamp, Chris Tucker, Forest Whitaker, Larry King, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jack Nicklaus, American Idol’s 2011 Top 11 Finalists and many more.
