Phoenix Children’s Hospital has announced the appointment of three community leaders to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital board of directors:

Robert M. Delgado, President and CEO, Hensley & Co.
Delgado brings to Phoenix Children’s a strong background in business administration, certified public accountancy and community involvement. Delgado serves on the boards of several community and charitable organizations: Board Member and Past Chairman of Greater Phoenix Leadership and Board Member of the Biltmore Bank of Arizona, amongst others.

Earl G. “Ken” Kendrick, Managing General Partner, Arizona Diamondbacks
Kendrick is a charter member of the ownership group that brought baseball to the Valley of the Sun. Kendrick started his career with IBM in Baltimore and three years later founded Datatel, Inc., which became the industry leader in the development of software for colleges and universities. Kendrick remains involved in the operation of Datatel and serves as chairman of their Scholars Foundation, providing college scholarships to students throughout the U.S. and Canada. Kendrick is also active in charity and philanthropic endeavors including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Phoenix Art Museum and more.

Mark DeMichele, Chairman and CEO, Urban Realty Partners
Prior to moving to Arizona, DeMichele served as Vice President of Niagara-Mohawk Power Corporation, headquartered in Syracuse, NY. He joined Arizona Public Service in 1978 as Vice President of Corporate Relations and was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer in 1982. He is a former board member of Pinnacle West Capital Corporation and America West Airlines and is active in a variety of environmental and electric energy issues. De Michele supports several community organizations and has held leadership roles in numerous philanthropic foundations that support education and the arts.
