The Via Linda Plaza was recently bought for $2.5 million and as a result of new developments at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, there are plans to build a 23,000-square-foot ballroom and meeting space at the resort by the end of 2013. Strategic Hotels will continue as the resort's asset manager through the restructuring process.
