Have you seen people making weird faces into their phones lately? We are all guilty of secretly using our phones as mirrors but now with App, Snapchat you may be more likely to see people getting creative with their facial expressions. Snapchat is a fast and easy way to send pictures to your friends apparently Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram aren't enough. Snapchat brings something NEW to the "sharing" game. It is having a conversation with pictures. The pictures are timed, and you can add a caption and draw on them. The catch is, you can only see the pictures when you first open them.

How Macerich is Making a Difference
Now that 2013 is upon us, so are New Year's resolutions. Getting fit, stopping smoking and--like Macerich is--making a difference in our community. You see, Macerich's Scottsdale Fashion Square, Chandler Fashion Center and Paradise Valley Mall have teamed up with Caitlin Crommett, who three years ago founded DreamCatchers at the age of 15. Crommett is in town this week to find volunteers for her nonprofit that is dedicated to granting final wishes for the terminally ill.

Love yoga? Do it for free on Saturday, Jan. 5, at Mind Body Yoga, the newest yoga hot spot to hit Phoenix. The new fitness destination will celebrate its grand opening with complimentary Vinyasa Flow classes at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., with live sounds by DJ Mike Goodness from 2 until 7 p.m.
