Think you have a knack for naming things? Well, Tempe's Monti's restaurant has a contest for you--with a sweet prize, to boot. At the end of February, Monti's will unveil its brand new 2,000-sq.-ft. patio. The chic patio will have seating for 130 people, three get-cozy fire pits and urban bar stools. Because the contemporary patio is nothing like the old-fashioned restaurant, Tempe will experience a new side of the famous steakhouse. And Monti's is seeking a name for this new addition--and they need your help!

Today the Maricopa County Superior Court jury has officially sentenced a Scottsdale man to the death penalty.  Back in 2010 Andre Leteve he shot and killed his two sons.  After shooting his sons he attempted suicide by shooting himself in his face but survived .  Leteve used to be employeed by a well known jeweler in the Biltmore Fashion Park.

The Scottsdale League for the Arts has announced a new addition to the 2013 Scottsdale Culinary Festival--the Take the Cake - Decorating Competition.

During this year's Scottsdale Culinary Festival’s highly anticipated brunch event, Wine Country Brunch, which takes place April 14, professional cake artists, pastry chefs, and high school, college and culinary art students are invited to submit cakes to be judged by top pastry chefs from across the Valley. A maximum of two cakes can be submitted.
