Selection Sunday has concluded and set the stage for March Madness. Perhaps even more exciting than which teams will be facing off, is the opportunity for local NCAA fans to catch the action at the McKale Center in Tucson this week.

Tickets are still available through various outlets on the web for three NCAA sessions transpiring in Tucson on Thursday and Saturday.

This Thursday, McKale Center will host session one of the NCAA tournament when Temple faces Penn State while San Diego State takes on Colorado at 12:10 p.m. Mountain Standard Time.

Later Thursday, session 2 (beginning at 5:25 p.m. MST) will pin Wisconsin against Belmont and in a simultaneous tournament Kansas vs. Utah State.

Session three will take place this Saturday March 19th at noon MST.

While in the Tucson vicinity, fans can takes a break from the action or retreat after the game to the area’s newest eateries. Recently opened in downtown Tucson are Hub Restaurant & Creamery and Monkey Burger as well as a refreshed La Cocina at Old Town Artisans. Two exciting new eateries over at University of Arizona's Main Gate Square are Wilko and Pasco Kitchen & Lounge.

In addition to fine dining, a plethora of shopping and leisure activities surround Old Pueblo. La Encantada offers upscale, outdoor shopping and some of the best art galleries in the west.
