Platforms. Platforms. Platforms. These were the shoe of choice scattered all over the New York Fashion Week Spring 2011 Runways. These sexy spring shoes were seen on runways from Oscar de la Renta to Calvin Klein to Prada. Designers such as Charles Anastase and Fendi kept platform wedges natural with earthy tones, while others such as Prada spiced it up with funky blues and sherbet oranges. Not only are sassy wedge platforms perfect for the Spring, but your feet will be thanking you after those long nights of play.

Many spectators at New York Fashion Week were also impressed upon viewing designer Siriano’s spring 2011 shoe collection for Payless. The new idea of making fashion a little more accessible is a popular rising trend amongst name brand designers and Siriano did not fail to impress. His collection featured platform shoes inspired by India, China, and Africa.
