French café music wafts from my speakers as I enter Silvia Bours' lavish website. The curiosity of my youth is aroused as I view ethereal creations scattered amongst the pink daisy wallpaper. The sparkly lace dresses and pastel hues are reminiscent of fairy tale princesses and layer cake tea parties.
Bours’ fanciful party dresses are sure to make any fashionista squeal like a little girl with excitement. Her feminine ballerina chic clothing encompass style and imagination. Her pieces are referred to by many as “unique pieces of art”. Bours’ dresses are all one of a kind hand sewn by herself and a single employee and some of the dresses are hand painted original art on cotton.
Silvia’s creativity started when she was only a little girl. She always had an inclination for fashion. She was often seen parading around parties in fancy dresses with large bows.
Prior to learning how to sew, Silvia sketched out her dress designs then her mother would have the dresses made. This positive reinforcement from her mother largely impacted Silvia’s pursuance for the art of fashion. Her flirty dresses are always a top choice for occasions such as proms and wedding parties. Many exuberant young girls are also happy that the boutiques have been known to keep track of what dress is going to what prom, so as not to see the same dress. Bours draws her inspiration from designers such as Vivian Westwood and John Galliano.
Silvia was raised in Ciudad Obregon Sonora and moved to France. There she was inspired to turn her love of fashion into a career. In 2006 she attended the Art Institute in Tucson and presented her first fashion show in October of 2007. By 2009 she was selling her clothing in exclusive fashion boutiques.

Her dresses run anywhere from $300 to $500 and are guaranteed to impress.
