French café music wafts from my speakers as I enter Silvia Bours' lavish website. The curiosity of my youth is aroused as I view ethereal creations scattered amongst the pink daisy wallpaper. The sparkly lace dresses and pastel hues are reminiscent of fairy tale princesses and layer cake tea parties.

Tucson’s fashion scene is gradually expanding and with it comes new and innovative photographers, namely Mikael Ramirez. I was first introduced to Mikael about a year ago when I was invited to model for him. Mikael’s simple and sleek fashion concepts along with his meticulous photo retouching quickly grasped my interest.

Unfortunately for Arizonans, New York is about a five-hour plane flight away.
