On Saturday, May 2nd, friends of the ASU Equestrian Team gathered at the Scottsdale home of Randy and Leah Bollig and raised $6,000 dedicated to the continuing success of the team while cheering on their favorite horse in the Kentucky Derby.

175 people attended the event hosted by Danielle and John Werstler and Leah and Randy Bollig. Mint juleps, Derby hors d’oeuvres, a betting cage, hats of all description, and large-screen TVs gave guests the real-time experience of being at Churchill Downs on Derby Day.

Committee members included Beth Buchanan, Joan Buchanan, Danielle Werstler, Bev Reading, Pamela Wright, Leah Bollig and Jan Jones.
