Dec. 7, 2018. LPGA hosted a sponsor outing and kick-off event for the 2019 tournament to be held at the host site, the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa and Wildfire Golf Club. The day started with lunch, followed by a 9-hole shotgun, and concluded with happy hour. Among the sponsors that were there, LPGA Founder Marilynn Smith joined for happy hour, Cristie Kerr showcased her wine, Kerr Cellars, and representatives of the Bank of Hope.
