Oct. 1, 2016. It was a beautiful day outdoors for the Opening Day Celebration of the Japanese Friendship Garden. A lot of upkeep was done during the summer and the garden was as beautiful as ever. Live performances by Chieko Kojima and Ken Koshio, and many enthusiastic attendees bid on the silent auction which included artwork from local artists.
